Terms of use

1. The service

Zoneroo, operated by Rommel Oy, lets you look up what the public DNS of a domain shows, and read market figures built from the same data. It is free to use within the limits below. Nothing here is a contract for paid services; paid plans will have their own terms.

2. Fair use

A lookup shows one domain. There is a limit on lookups per address and per day, and a limit for all visitors together. You may not get around the limits (for example with several addresses), copy the data in bulk, build a database or a competing service from it, or put a load on the service that affects others. Automated access is not allowed without our written agreement. We may block addresses that break these rules.

3. What you get

The data is public information, collected by automated scans and shown as it is, without a guarantee that it is complete, correct or current. You use it at your own responsibility. The data stays ours (as a collection); the facts about a domain are public.

4. Availability

We run Zoneroo with care but offer no guarantee of availability. We may change, limit or stop it.

5. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health, and as the law requires. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential duty and only for the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. We are not liable for the free data shown beyond that.

6. Removal

If you own a domain or are a person it concerns, you can ask us to remove it, see the privacy policy.

7. Changes

We may change these terms. The version on this page applies from the day it is published.

8. Governing law

The law of Finland applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules; mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence stays. The place of jurisdiction for businesses is Helsinki.
